Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing nursing assessments and plans care around patient needs.
• Collaborates with physicians and other disciplines to optimize outcomes.
• Administers medications and monitors for adverse effects with patient safety in mind.
• Provides preop/postop education and discharge planning guidance.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and professional standards at all times.
