Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; RN license required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
• Annual mandatory education requirements must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Provides age-appropriate nursing care per Population Specific Criteria.
• Identifies patient care needs and delivers individualized customer service.
• Performs initial and ongoing nursing assessments to guide discharge planning.
• Develops and revises the care plan with input from the care team.
• Implements interventions per the established plan while adhering to standards of care.
• Evaluates patient response and communicates change in condition and plan.
• Performs clinical skills competently and safely and maintains equipment and supplies.
• Participates in meetings and performance improvement activities.
• Adheres to infection control guidelines and scope of practice.
• Ensures proper utilization of staff and effective communication.
