Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg 5E. The role welcomes both new graduates and experienced RNs. Location is Mercy Hospital South at 10010 Kennerly Rd, with a 36-hour weekly schedule during day shifts (7:00am–7:00pm).

The unit treats adult medical patients; a BSN is preferred, with Missouri RN licensure or compact licensure. BLS required, and sign-on bonuses are offered for experienced and new graduate nurses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the listed degrees.
• Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• Experience: Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.
• Certifications: Required BLS through AHA or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for the assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
