Job summary

Mercy is hiring an RN for Med Surg 5E in Missouri. The role welcomes new graduate nurses and experienced RNs. Location is Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, with a 36-hour weekly schedule and days 7:00am–7:00pm.

The unit treats adult medical patients; a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is offered for experienced nurses, and up to $5,000 for new grads. Mercy supports growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Missouri or compact license per state rules.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days.
• New graduate nurses welcomed; hospital experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and evaluates care effectiveness.
• Cares for adult medical patients on Med Surg 5E with conditions like OB, infections, and pneumonia.
