Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg 5E in St. Louis, MO. The unit handles adult medical patients and offers a strong environment to grow nursing skills. Schedule: full-time, 36 hours/week, days from 7:00am to 7:00pm.

Location: Mercy Hospital South, 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128. Sign-on bonuses of up to $10,000 for experienced nurses or up to $5,000 for new graduates are available.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current RN license in Missouri or possess compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
