Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 2b Med Telemetry floor- OCE Unit, Ortho spine and Bariatric Surgical Unit. The role supports a 36-hour schedule, 7p–7a, with every other weekend and benefits eligibility.

The RN will provide comprehensive care across age groups, demonstrate strong assessment and clinical skills, and utilize computer systems. Licensure, BLS, and a BSN progress are required or anticipated.

Qualifications

• Current MA RN license & BLS certification.
• 1–2 years of acute Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN; BSN within 4 years preferred.
• Excellent assessment, clinical, organizational skills required; ability to lift and move patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide care across all ages from infant to elderly, tailored to individual needs.
• Incorporate hospital mission, vision and values into nursing practice.
• Delegate nursing tasks within scope while maintaining patient safety.
• Maintain health maintenance, teaching, counseling and collaborative planning.
