Job summary

Northwest Health in Porter Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg unit. The RN will provide patient-centered care, coordinate with the care team, and support families. Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations required.
• RN licensure in applicable state and BCLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications preferred where available.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications, monitor effects, and document administration.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and discharge plans.
