Job summary

Cape Cod Healthcare Inc. is seeking an RN for Med Surg in Massachusetts (Falmouth) with responsibilities to coordinate patient care, educate families, and administer medications.

The role requires MA RN licensure and completion of CCHC pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams, with 7a-7p shifts and rotating weekends/holidays. This exempt, salaried position includes working with an interdisciplinary team and providing high-quality care to postoperative and telemetry patients in the FHA-Med/Surg 3

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• RN license in Massachusetts (MA).
• CCHC Pharmacology Exam (pass prior to start date).
• CCHC Basic Arrhythmia Exam (pass prior to start date).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates total nursing care for patients.
• Participates in patient and family teaching.
• Administers medications safely.
• Documents according to entity/department guidelines.
• Cares for post-operative patients.
• Manages patients with various conditions and devices.
• Provides care using the nursing process and within an interdisciplinary team.
