Job summary

American Senior Communities in Clinton, IN is seeking a registered nurse to serve as MDS Coordinator, responsible for coordinating and completing the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and leading the interdisciplinary care planning process while ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements.

The role emphasizes clinical judgment, leadership, collaboration, and a supportive presence for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, preferably BSN.
• Minimum of one year in nursing management in the long-term industry.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, restorative care or geriatric nursing setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and the interdisciplinary care planning process.
