Job summary
Avardis Health is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as an MDS Coordinator in Ashland. The role oversees the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, ensuring accurate assessments for optimal care planning and Medicare/Managed Care reimbursement.
The position calls for detail-oriented, compliant professionals who thrive in a structured care setting. The ideal candidate will have an active RN license, 6+ months of MDS Coordinator experience, and preferred RAC-CT or RNAC
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing.
- 6+ months of experience as an MDS Coordinator.
- Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation preferred.
- RAC-CT or RNAC certification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and complete the MDS, CAA’s, and Care Plans in compliance with Federal and State regulations.
- Monitor and document management of Medicare and Managed Care residents with interdisciplinary team.
- Ensure accuracy in resident assessments to maximize reimbursement and quality of care.
- Drive process improvements to enhance resident outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with evolving regulations and best practices.
