Laughlin Healthcare Center in Greeneville, TN, is seeking a dedicated MDS Coordinator (RN) to join our care team. The role requires coordinating the MDS/RAI process, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring accurate documentation in a team-driven environment.

The ideal candidate has an active TN RN license, 3 years of nursing experience with supervision, and MDS training within 6 months of hire. RAC certification is preferred, with full-time benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active RN license for the state of Tennessee.
• 3 years nursing experience including supervisory experience.
• MDS training must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• RAC Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly education meetings to stay updated on MDS changes.
• Coordinate the facility’s Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Accurately complete all MDS assessments and any supporting assessments or clinical documentation.
• Evaluate residents’ comprehensive care plans, audit medical records, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform tasks as assigned by Regional MDS Consultants, Administrator, and Director of Nursing.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information.
