Job summary

Metro West Nursing and Rehab Center in Florida is seeking an experienced RN to serve as MDS Coordinator, overseeing the RAI process to ensure compliance with OBRA, Medicare/Medicaid and state regulations.

The role requires active RN licensure in the state, knowledge of MDS/RAI, and prior LTC or long-term care nursing experience. You will collaborate with leadership to maintain high-quality resident care and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of practice required.
• Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs, LTC payer systems, OBRA, the RAI process, and the MDS process preferred OR prior nursing in a long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and coordinate the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process.
• Ensure compliance with current professional practice standards, physician's orders and regulations.
• Collaborate with leadership to maintain high-quality resident care and regulatory adherence.
