Job description

The Village at Rockville is excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated MDS Coordinator with a Registered Nurse (RN) background to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for coordinating the development and completion of resident assessments while maintaining the MDS schedule. Your nursing expertise will be crucial in administering and managing assessments, developing individualized care plans, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. You will work closely with residents to monitor their health and well-being, utilizing your strong analytical skills to gather data and implement effective treatment strategies.

As an MDS Coordinator at The Village at Rockville, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of care provided to our residents. Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the development and completion of resident assessments.
  • Maintain the MDS schedule.
  • Administer and manage assessments.
  • Develop individualized care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Monitor residents' health and well-being.
  • Gather data and implement effective treatment strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Active RN license.
  • 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in long-term care.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and CMS regulations and requirements.
  • Previous MDS experience is preferred.
