Job summary

St. Mary’s Healthcare in Albany area seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for per-diem shifts. You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and carry out physician and nursing orders with the care team.

Responsibilities include coordinating discharge planning, ensuring safety, and maintaining high-quality patient care. Must hold a diploma, NY RN license, BLS within 90 days, NRP/ACLS within 6 months, and speak English proficiently.

Shift: Rotating, Weekends

Hours Per Week: As scheduled

Hiring range: Starting at $38.50/hr.

Registered Nurses (RN's) are eligible for additional compensation based on the shifts worked.

• Weekday evening shift - additional 10% plus $2.00 per hour
• Weekday night shift - an additional 15% plus $3.00 per hour
• Weekend day shift - an additional 10%
• Weekend evening & night shifts - an additional 21%

The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Required Credential(s)

• BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing
• NRP and ACLS within 6 months.
