Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking experienced Registered Nurses with at least two years of inpatient experience for per diem, part-time, or full-time roles across our women's and children's service line.

Opportunities exist in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Antepartum, Pediatrics, NICU, and PICU across locations including Evanston Hospital. Per diem shifts and flexible scheduling support diverse lifestyle needs.

Qualifications

• Current IL RN license required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS, PALS and NRP certifications required by AHA.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate the patient plan of care.
• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assume responsibility and authority for outcomes of nursing care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and high-quality patient experience.
