Job summary

The Idaho Division of Veterans Services (IDVS) is recruiting for a Registered Nurse Manager at the State Veterans Home in Lewiston. You will oversee nursing staff, ensure high-quality resident care, and maintain regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include 24-hour supervision, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, staff development, and ensuring accurate nursing records. A shift differential applies for evening and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Requires current licensure as a Registered Nurse (Idaho or Nurse Licensure Compact).
• Supervisory experience in nursing preferred.
• Experience assessing nursing practices for compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Function as 24-hour supervisor in a long-term care facility.
• Coordinate nursing services with multidisciplinary teams.
• Schedule staff to ensure 24-hour coverage and delegate tasks.
• Provide professional nursing care and determine consultations.
• Enforce standards of nursing practice and policies.
• Counsel relatives on health status and treatment options.
