Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, GA, seeks an RN Manager Trauma Services to oversee the Trauma Program. This role partners with the Trauma Medical Director and hospital leadership to assure high-quality trauma care, clinical services, education, and outreach while maintaining 24-hour day management responsibility.

The TPM will lead program initiatives, ensure compliance with standards, and support research and educational activities within the Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in acute care nursing or trauma required.
• 1+ years of experience in leadership required.
• Registered Nurse—currently licensed in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee trauma program operations with hospital leadership.
• Ensure compliance with Trauma Center designation standards.
• Provide 24/7 operational oversight for trauma services.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Trauma Program Manager (TPM) works with the Trauma Medical Director (TMD) and hospital leadership to assure optimal trauma patient care services, quality outcomes and compliance with standards for Trauma Center designation and verification. The TPM strives to achieve successful outcomes for all care and programs associated with the trauma service, serves as operational director for all program initiatives and requirements. The TPM is involved with administrative operations, financial support, clinical services, educational activities, outreach initiatives, and research activities of the Trauma Center. This position maintains responsibility/accountability for 24-hour day management.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in acute care nursing or trauma required
• 1+ years of experience in leadership required
• Registered Nurse-currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation required
