Consumer Directed Services Inc. is seeking an RN Manager of Perioperative Services for evening shifts to lead OR, Pre-Op, PACU and Sterile Processing operations.

The role requires IL RN licensure, BLS, and national nursing certification; a BSN is required, with 3+ years perioperative leadership preferred. You will manage staffing, budgets, regulatory readiness, and quality metrics to ensure safe surgical services.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Illinois with BLS cert within 30 days and national nursing cert within 3 years.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Preferred: 3+ years perioperative nursing and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, delegate and coordinate staffing, budgeting, and process improvements for throughput and workflows.
• Supervise perioperative nursing care, ensure regulatory readiness (DNV, DHS, OSHA, AAMI, AORN).
• Develop physician relationships and manage equipment/instrumentation needs to maintain a safe environment.
• Oversee staff performance, recruitment, credentialing and ongoing professional development.
• Monitor quality metrics, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement; implement corrective actions.
• Manage departmental budgets, resources, capital needs, and ensure safety and efficiency.

The RN Manager, Perioperative Services - Evenings is responsible for leading and overseeing the operational, clinical, and administrative functions of the Operating Room, Pre-Op, PACU, and Sterile Processing departments during evening shifts.

Key Duties Include

• Planning, organizing, delegating, and coordinating staff utilization, budgeting, and process improvements to ensure efficient patient throughput and staff workflows.
• Supervising nursing care and activities within perioperative areas, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (DNV, DHS, OSHA, AAMI, AORN) and readiness for surveys and accreditations.
• Developing physician relationships, supporting equipment and instrumentation needs, and maintaining a safe, compliant environment.
• Managing staff performance, recruitment, credentialing, and ongoing professional development.
• Monitoring quality metrics, patient satisfaction scores, and staff engagement, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Overseeing departmental budgets, resource allocation, and capital needs, while ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
• Ensuring departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are followed, and preparing departments for surveys.
• Participating in committees, staff meetings, and representing the department in leadership forums.

Qualifications Include
