Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking an RN Manager of Patient Care Operations for Procedural & Imaging Services to lead a team of about 50 FTEs on a day shift. The role requires at least 3 years of RN practice and prior management experience.

You'll partner with the director and clinicians to optimize staffing, safety, quality and patient satisfaction while guiding staff development and budget oversight across pediatric surgical and imaging services.

Formación

• Requires a BSN; RN licensure in Illinois.
• ANCC certification relevant to area within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification required; Pediatric Acute Life Support (PALS) preferred in some areas within 6 months of employment.
• Demonstrates leadership, communication, organization, budgeting and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring high-quality care, patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Lead staffing, scheduling, payroll, and overtime approval to support budget targets.
• Act as clinical and operational resource and role model for staff; recruit, coach and mentor team members.
• Collaborate with leadership to optimize patient flow and service delivery across departments.
• Drive process improvement and ensure timely communication within department and with senior leadership.
