Qualifications And Requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited program. Additional requirements include:

  • ADN required, BSN preferred
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • 2-3 years RN experience required, with at least 1-year supervisory experience preferred

Department/Unit Summary

We have an opportunity for an RN Manager in Critical Care for Telemetry/ICU. Our Telemetry unit has 22 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5/6. The ICU has 18 beds with a 1:2/3 nurse-to-patient ratio, caring for patients on vents, BiPAP, vasopressor drips, DKA on insulin, ETOH on CIWA, and intermediate care.

This position reports to the Director of Critical Care and involves:

  • Defining the department's mission and sharing the corporate vision with staff
  • Directing operations and administration under guidance of the Administrative Representative
  • Developing and leading assigned personnel in their duties
