Job summary

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL seeks an RN Manager Endoscopy to lead the endoscopy suite, oversee daily operations, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care. The role requires BSN (preferred), active Florida RN license or compact, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice and/or active compact license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
• 2+ years of endoscopy nursing experience; 1+ years supervisory/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the endoscopy suite.
• Coordinate patient care on a 24-hour basis, including administrative and nursing activities.
• Ensure effective management, communication and appropriate discipline.
• Evaluate and improve nursing care and related activities in the endoscopy unit.

RN Manager Endoscopy

The Manager Endo has the direct line responsibility for day-to-day operations and overall responsibility for the endoscopy suite. The Manager will ensure that employees have effective management, good communication and appropriate discipline. Other duties include being responsible on a 24-hour basis for the coordination of patient care, administrative and nursing activities as well as the quality of care provided, and the implementation and evaluation of all nursing care and related activities. What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferred
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state of practice and/or active compact license, in accordance with laws and regulation required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• 2+ years of experience in endoscopy nursing required; 1+ years of supervisory/leadership experience required
