Job summary

Research Medical Center is seeking an RN Manager of Case Management to oversee a clinical team and the social services function, driving efficient patient throughput and care coordination. The role reports to the department leadership and collaborates with clinicians to meet regulatory standards.

The position requires RN licensure (or equivalent) with several years of leadership in case management and a strong focus on performance improvement and budget participation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinicians to design processes ensuring regulatory compliance and survey readiness.
• Assist the director with unit budgeting and financial management.
• Ensure quality patient care through data analysis and performance improvement initiatives.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The manager of case management provides supervision and oversees the functional operations of case management and social services. The manager leads a team of clinical professionals to achieve optimal outcomes for patient throughput.

What you will do in this role

• You will provide oversight for the day-to-day department activities including but not limited to, education, productivity monitoring, staffing support, communication and scheduling.
• You will have case management, utilization review and/or discharge planning responsibilities.
• You will collaborate with clinicians and support staff in designing and implementing processes to comply with regulatory requirements and assist with TJC survey readiness/preparation.
• You will assist the director with the financial management of the unit, including participation in the annual budget process.
• You will ensure the delivery of quality patient care by analyzing data and initiating and/or participating in performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• (RN) Registered Nurse, or (LMSW/RCSW-I) Lic Master Social Worker/Reg Clin SW-Intern, or Registered Nurse Diploma, or Masters Degree
• 5 years experience Required Years of Experience
