Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in Orange Park, FL is seeking an experienced RN Manager for Cardiac Med Surg to lead daily operations of a busy unit, ensure quality patient care, and collaborate with the leadership team.

The ideal candidate holds a valid RN license, a BSN, and preferably a MSN, with 3+ years acute care nursing leadership. BLS/ACLS required; strong clinical and staff development skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the state you practice or must hold Compact/Multi-State RN License.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS from AHA or ARC required.
• 3+ years of acute care nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, staff and direct unit operations to ensure effective operation.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop plans, policies and procedures for quality care.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff to provide safe, patient-centered cardiac care.
• Support workforce planning and staffing efficiency on the Cardiac Med Surg unit.

Job Summary and Qualifications

TheRN Manager Cardiac Med Surgis responsible for planning, organizing, staffing and directing functions to ensure the effective operation of the unit. In cooperation with the leadership team, the Manager will be instrumental in developing plans, policies and procedures to efficiently provide quality care. What qualifications you will need:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State which you practice or must hold Compact/Multi-State RN License required
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
• A current BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association (AHA or American Red Cross are required
• 3+ years of acute care nursing experience required
