Job summary

Aztec Healthcare in Aztec, New Mexico is seeking qualified traveling nurses for 13-week assignments starting ASAP. Positions are full-time with 12-hour shifts, offering competitive wages for LVN and RN with multi-state licensure welcome.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of high-quality clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction during supervisory shift.
• Serve as a resource to staff regarding the quality of services provided.
• Provide direct resident care when required; administer medications and treatments timely per policy; follow physician orders when allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Effectively manage nursing personnel on shift to limit overtime and agency personnel.
• Assess the work performance of nursing staff relative to unit standards of care and goals.
• Conduct regular staff meetings on each shift and provide updates to DON.
