Job summary

VIVA Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Home Health Nurse (RN or LVN) to deliver one-on-one skilled nursing care to medically fragile children in home settings in Driftwood, Kyle and surrounding areas.

We offer Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities with shifts including 8, 10, or 12 hours. Care may include patients with tracheostomies, ventilators, G-tube, BiPAP or IV needs. Join a nurse-owned, community-focused team committed to Honest, Excellence, Adaptable, Relationships, and Teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active Texas LVN or RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• At least 1 year of work experience or 6 months pediatric home health as a licensed RN or LVN.

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes.
• Collaborate with care team and family.

Position Summary

May include care for patients with tracheostomy, ventilator, G-tube needs, BiPAP or IV needs.

Shift Schedule

Day Shift and Night Shift available

8 hour shifts, 10 hour shifts and 12 hour shifts available

Major Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Monitor patient condition and report changes
• Collaborate with care team and family
• Complete accurate clinical documentation electronically

Qualifications

• Active Texas LVN or RN license
• Current CPR certification
• Valid Driver's License
• At least 1 year of work experience or 6 months pediatric home health as a licensed RN or LVN
