Job summary

5 Star Quality Care in Farmington, NM is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our full-time nursing team for 12-hour shifts (6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM). The RN/LVN will lead resident care, develop care plans with multidisciplinary staff, and supervise nursing personnel to maintain safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program and licensed in the state of practice.
• Candidates with a minimum of 2 years in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Makes nursing diagnoses to guide care plans.
• Collaborates with the resident and health care team.
• Records administration of medications and any changes in patient condition.
• Monitors assigned staff to uphold safety regulations and state requirements.
• Follows procedures for nursing equipment and supplies.
• Performs other duties as directed.
