Job summary

Sanford Luverne is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care at our Critical Access Hospital in the Medical/Surgical, ER, and OB units. You’ll work 8-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays, joining Physicians, LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians in a team-focused environment.

The ideal candidate is an adaptable, compassionate communicator with strong time-management skills, ready to collaborate with nursing leadership to advance the organization.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in the state with active licensure (or multi-state licensure if NLC).
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage and various other nursing interventions.
• Collaborates with physicians and colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Empathetically cares for patients during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
• Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
