Job summary

Sanford Health in Luverne, MN is seeking a positive, compassionate RN new graduate for its Nurse Residency track at Luverne Medical Center. You will join a fast-paced team that values communication, time management and patient-centered care across units.

Eligible new graduates explore multiple departments and interview with units of choice after talking with a Talent Advisor. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants and a strong residency program supports growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program. Nursing license must be current.
• RN license with any state board; multi-state licensure acceptable where applicable.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred per the job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage and various nursing interventions.
• Collaborates with physicians and colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Empathetically cares for patients across preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.


• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
