Job summary

Vibra Travels is seeking Registered Nurses for long-term acute care travel assignments in Battle Creek, MI. You will develop and adjust care plans for patients and families, while coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team to maintain high standards of care.

Ideal candidates have acute care, LTAC, and ICU/Med-Surg/Telemetry experience, an active RN license in the state of employment, and a valid driver’s license. Travel arrangements and benefits are part of Vibra Travels’ program.

Qualifications

• 1 year as Registered Nurse required, but may vary by client and setting.
• Recent acute care experience required; LTAC experience preferred
• ICU, Med Surg and Telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels. The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act.Specific components of the Registered Nurse role include demonstrating clinical competence; managing patient care; improving quality of care; establishing professional relationships and utilizing professional skills; fulfilling responsibilities of the role of the hospital; and developing clinical expertise per specialty.

Position Supervisory Responsibilties:

Supervises the following positions: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides and Techs.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations

• Additional certifications may be required by some clients.
