Job summary

Vibra Travels in Youngstown, OH seeks Registered Nurses for travel assignments across the region. You will work with one recruiter from start to finish, with local and non-local positions and competitive hourly pay plus tax-free stipends where applicable.

Responsibilities include developing, implementing and evaluating plans of care, supervising licensed staff, and delivering high-quality nursing care in LTAC settings. Requires active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and travel ability.

Qualifications

• 1 year as Registered Nurse required, LTAC/acute care preferred.
• Current, valid RN license for the state of employment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required by Vibra Travels.
• Ability to travel and work at multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops and revises plan of care for assigned patients.
• Supervises LPNs, CNAs, and nursing staff as applicable.
• Delivers direct patient care and coordinates with the care team.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels. The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Specific components of the Registered Nurse role include demonstrating clinical competence; managing patient care; improving quality of care; establishing professional relationships and utilizing professional skills; fulfilling responsibilities of the role of the hospital; and developing clinical expertise per specialty.

Position Supervisory Responsibilties

Supervises the following positions: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides and Techs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year as Registered Nurse required, but may vary by client and setting
• Recent acute care experience required; LTAC experience preferred
• ICU, Med Surg and Telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.
• Additional certifications may be required by some clients.
