SnapCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week Day shift assignment in Daytona Beach, FL. Responsibilities include assessing patients within 8 hours of admission and developing individualized care plans while supervising support staff.

The role emphasizes patient teaching, discharge planning, and collaboration with physicians. Requires a minimum of two years bedside experience and BLS/ACLS certifications prior to the first shift.

Formación

• Minimum two years of bedside clinical experience.
• BLS certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift.
• Must adhere to hospital guidelines outlining standards of personal appearance, attendance, and punctuality.

Responsabilidades

• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
• Develop and follow individualized patient care plans based on nursing assessments.
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and/or orientees.
• Provide patient information and status updates for Initial Team Conferences and weekly Re-evaluation Team Conferences.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner in the medical record.
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs on assigned unit.
• Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission and provide patient teaching in anticipation of discharge.
• Communicate pertinent information regarding changes in patient status to attending physician and Charge Nurse.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and provide direction and training to ancillary nursing personnel.
• Assumes charge responsibility following orientation period as requested.
