Job summary

Kindred Hospital Indianapolis is seeking a registered nurse to plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. You will develop and coordinate care plans with patients, families, and inter-disciplinary staff, ensuring timely communication of any changes in condition.

The role requires an RN license, BLS on hire, and preferably ACLS; six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with state licensure (required).
• BLS certification required on hire; ACLS preferred.
• Six months Medical/Surgical nursing experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct/indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Develop and update nursing care plans with patient, family and staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and team.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
