Job summary

Majestic Care Terre Haute seeks Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to join a team dedicated to compassionate, high-quality resident care. You will supervise CNAs, implement physician orders, and contribute to individualized care plans within a unit.

The position emphasizes clinical nursing skills, teamwork, and adherence to state regulations, with a focus on ongoing development and excellence in resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN or LPN in the state employed; active and in good standing.
• CPR teaching certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess and document residents’ condition and nursing needs.
• Implement physicians’ orders accurately and promptly.
• Administer medications, start IVs, and document treatments as required.
• Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Assist physicians with tests and procedures within nursing scope.
• Record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
• Coordinate nursing care when residents are scheduled for therapy or procedures.
• Assist with emergency measures for sudden adverse developments.
