Majestic Care of Terre Haute is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team and support residents through skilled nursing on an assigned unit. You will supervise CNAs and ensure high-quality care under nursing management guidance.

The role involves administering medications, starting IVs, documenting treatments, and coordinating with physicians. Active Indiana RN license required; CPR certification preferred. Join us for compassionate, value-driven care.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the state employed; license must be active, valid, and in good standing.
• CPR certification preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Initiate and lead team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess and document the residents’ condition and nursing needs.
• Accurately and promptly implement physicians’ orders.
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments for assigned residents and document that treatment as required by Majestic Care and local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
• Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified Nursing Practice Act.
• Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
• Coordinate nursing care of residents when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
• Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in residents.
