Job summary

Majestic Care of Terre Haute is seeking a Weekend Supervisor, RN to lead a nursing unit in a long-term care community. The role focuses on directing clinical operations and ensuring residents receive high-quality care.

You will supervise care teams, participate in staff development, coordinate with physicians, and monitor staffing and budget to maintain service levels. A valid RN license and prior long-term care experience are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the state employed; keep valid.
• CPR certification preferred, but not required.
• Must hold an active CPR license or obtain within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Direct the operation of a nursing unit in a long-term care community.
• Hire, discipline, and evaluate care team members.
• Plan and facilitate meetings addressing resident care issues for the unit.
• Manage staffing and census to meet resident needs and budget.
• Coordinate physician interventions and ensure timely care.
• Monitor unit operations and ensure quality care delivery.
• Oversee medications, supplies, and records for safety and efficiency.
• Assist in orientation and coaching of new personnel.
