Job summary
John Scott House Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Braintree, MA, is seeking a compassionate Unit Manager (RN/LPN) to lead our short-term unit. This is a hands-on leadership role that embraces mentoring staff, building relationships with residents and families, and remaining actively involved in clinical care.

Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts RN or LPN license in good standing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily clinical operations of a long-term care unit.
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
- Complete resident assessments and oversee care planning.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in the on-call rotation.
- Assist with admissions and clinical problem-solving.
- Provide direct resident care as needed, including medication administration during busy periods.
