Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan provides individualized nursing care using the full nursing process across all phases of patient care. You will collaborate with residents, families, and a diverse interdisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care, while supporting continuity and education.

As a potential charge nurse, you may delegate tasks to licensed or unlicensed staff, ensuring safe, reliable care and adherence to nursing standards and ethics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families, and multidisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff within scope and competence.
• Ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and address care and service concerns.
