Job summary

Psychiatric Medical Care, via its Senior Life Solutions program in Marion, KS, is hiring a compassionate RN or LPN to join our IOP clinic. The role is full-time, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, with no on-call or weekends.

You will work with a small interdisciplinary team to deliver nursing care for older adults, lead community education sessions, and support program quality initiatives within a supportive, growth-minded organization.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license in the state of practice - required.
• Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing - required.
• Associates degree in nursing - required.
• Psychiatric nursing experience - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the behavioral health program.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support seniors 65+.

We're hiring a compassionate RN or LPN / LVN to join our tenured Intensive Outpatient Program (Senior Life Solutions), serving older adults in the Marion, KS community since 2021.

• Role: Clinic Nurse / Program Nurse
• Location: Marion, Kansas
• Setting: Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
• Population: Older Adults, Ages 65+
• Hourly: up to $37 / hourly depending on experience
• Schedule: Full Time (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm) (Note: No Call / No Weekends)

Opportunity Details:

As a Program Clinic Nurse, you will focus on the 3Cs; Care, Community, and Compliance.

Care: Collaborate with a small, interdisciplinary team, including a psychiatric physician, a social worker, and a CNA, to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients enrolled in the behavioral health program.

Community: Engage your local community to develop and deliver educational presentations, workshops, and seminars in the community to promote understanding and awareness of mental health issues and inform of the resources PMC can provide.

Compliance: Contribute to the enhancement of the behavioral health program by providing insights and feedback on patient care processes, program development, and quality improvement initiatives. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment strategies, and community outreach efforts.

Requirements

What We Require:

• Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice - required.
• Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing - required.
• Associates of above - required.
• Psychiatric Nursing experience - preferred.
• Passion for working with Older Adults - preferred.
