Job summary

Senior Life Solutions, a division of Psychiatric Medical Care, is hiring a compassionate RN or LPN to join our new Intensive Outpatient Program in Sabetha, KS. The Clinic Nurse role supports older adults in an IOP setting, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.

You'll collaborate with a small care team to provide nursing care and connect patients with mental health resources. Compensation offers up to $30 per hour, commensurate with experience, with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN in state of practice - required.
• Graduation from state-approved school of nursing - required.
• Associates degree in nursing - required.
• Psychiatric Nursing experience - preferred.
• Passion for working with Older Adults - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to older adults in an IOP behavioral health program.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including a psychiatric physician, social worker, and CNA.
• Engage with the local community to deliver educational presentations and seminars on mental health resources.

We're hiring a compassionate RN or LPN / LVN to join our new Intensive Outpatient Program (Senior Life Solutions), serving older adults in the Sabetha, KS community. This is the newest program in the state of Kansas set to open October with staff starting in September!

• Role: Clinic Nurse / Program Nurse
• Location: Sabetha, Kansas
• Setting: Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
• Population: Older Adults, Ages 65+
• Hourly: up to $30/ hourly depending on experience
• Schedule: Full Time (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm) (Note: No Call / No Weekends)

Opportunity Details:

As a Program Clinic Nurse, you will focus on the 3Cs; Care, Community, and Compliance.

Care:

Collaborate with a small, interdisciplinary team, including a psychiatric physician, a social worker, and a CNA, to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients enrolled in the behavioral health program.

Community:

Engage your local community to develop and deliver educational presentations, workshops, and seminars in the community to promote understanding and awareness of mental health issues and inform of the resources PMC can provide.

Compliance:

Contribute to the enhancement of the behavioral health program by providing insights and feedback on patient care processes, program development, and quality improvement initiatives. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment strategies, and community outreach efforts.

Requirements

What We Require:

• Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice - required.
• Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing - required.
• Associates of above - required.
• Psychiatric Nursing experience – preferred.
• Passion for working with Older Adults - preferred.
