Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN or LPN license.

• Ability to administer medications and monitor patient status.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients as assigned.
• Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned.
• Assists physicians with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Instructs patients and families on health care needs and care plans.
• Participates in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care with the team.
• Assists with admission, transfer and discharge of patients.
• Observes vital signs and reports changes to the care team.
• Maintains patient charts with accurate observations.
• Ensures a safe, comfortable environment and may assist with unit management.
