Job summary

Givens Estates in Asheville, NC is hiring a full-time and PRN LPN or RN to join our Assisted Living team. The schedule is 7p–7a with rotating weekends, offering flexible scheduling where possible and a comprehensive benefits package.

Compensation ranges from $30.00–$35.00 per hour for LPNs and $34.00–$39.00 per hour for RNs, based on experience, plus PRN premium and shift differential. We’re a nonprofit life plan community with a mission to improve lives through housing, services and outreach.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered LPN license to practice in North Carolina.
• RN license preferred for PRN RN option.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience delivering direct care to older adults (1 year preferred).
• Supervision experience as LPN or RN is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses to deliver care for residents' comfort and well-being.
• Administer prescribed medication and nutrition according to protocol.
• Document care delivery, resident condition, reactions and progress.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment and transfer/transport residents.
