Job summary

PineCrest Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility under new management, seeking an experienced Night Supervisor (RN or LPN) to oversee the night shift at 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The role leads nursing operations, ensures safe, high-quality care, and coordinates staff during night hours.

Responsibilities include supervising nurses and CNAs, managing staffing, responding to emergencies, and maintaining accurate documentation while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Current, active Florida RN or LPN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Two years of nursing experience; long-term care or rehabilitation preferred.
• At least one year of supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nurses and CNAs on the night shift.
• Manage staffing for the shift and reassign staff as needed.
• Respond to emergencies, falls, and changes in resident condition; coordinate care.
• Notify physicians, families, and the Director of Nursing of significant changes or incidents.
• Oversee after-hours admissions, readmissions, and transfers.
• Ensure medications and treatments are administered accurately and on time.
• Complete and review incident reports and documentation.
• Monitor infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Address resident, family, and staff concerns promptly.
• Provide direct nursing care when needed.
• Communicate shift events and follow-up items to the oncoming supervisor.

We are looking for an experienced, dependable nurse leader to oversee our night shift and help us deliver safe, compassionate care around the clock.

Job Summary
The Night Supervisor oversees all nursing operations during the night shift, acting as the senior clinical and administrative leader in the building. This role ensures residents receive safe, high-quality care, supports and directs nursing staff, responds to emergencies and changes in condition, and keeps leadership informed of any significant events.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nurses and CNAs on the night shift, making rounds throughout the facility

• Manage staffing for the shift, including handling call-offs and reassigning staff as needed

• Respond to emergencies, falls, and changes in resident condition, and coordinate appropriate care

• Notify physicians, families, and the Director of Nursing of significant changes or incidents

• Oversee after-hours admissions, readmissions, and transfers

• Ensure medications and treatments are administered accurately and on time

• Complete and review incident reports and required documentation

• Monitor compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and state and federal regulations

• Address resident, family, and staff concerns promptly and professionally

• Provide direct nursing care when needed

• Communicate shift events and follow-up items to the oncoming supervisor and leadership

• Protect resident confidentiality, privacy, and rights

Requirements

• Current, active Florida RN or LPN license

• Current CPR certification

• At least two years of nursing experience, with long-term care or rehabilitation experience preferred

• At least one year of supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred

• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to make sound decisions independently

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Reliable transportation
