Job summary

Huntersville Health & Rehabilitation Center seeks an RN House Supervisor to lead the nursing department in the DON's absence at our 90-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Huntersville, NC. The role involves coordinating admissions, transfers and discharges, overseeing staffing, and ensuring high-quality patient care around the clock.

Qualified candidates will hold a current RN license with at least 3 years of nursing experience, including exposure to acute settings.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with current North Carolina license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing department in DON's absence.
• Review staffing at shift change and assign/replace staff to meet patient care needs.
• Complete patient care rounds.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges; ensure proper documentation.
• Assist in orientation of evening and night shift staff.
• Supervise and evaluate evening and night shift personnel.

The RN/LPN House Supervisor oversees the nursing department in the DON's absence. The House Supervisor reviews staffing at the change of a shift and assigns and replaces staff to meet patient care needs. Completes patient care rounds. Coordinates admissions, transfers and /or discharges and ensures appropriate documentation. Assists in orientation of evening and night shift employees. Supervises and evaluates evening and night shift employees.

Qualified candidates will be a licensed RN and have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a nurse as well as experience in acute setting.
