Job summary

Midtown Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Memphis, TN is seeking LPNs and RNs to join our nursing team. You will provide skilled, compassionate care, administer medications, supervise CNAs, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet residents' needs.

This role emphasizes leadership, clinical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to policies to maintain a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications

Current LPN/RN license in the state.
At least one year of LPN or RN experience in a Long‑term Care Setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
Prepares and administers medications and records prescribed treatments.
Records patients' medical information and vital signs.
Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients and interprets displays.
Initiates corrective action when patient shows adverse symptoms.
Provides bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients.
Changes dressings, inserts catheters, starts IVs.
Aids physician during examination and treatment of patient.
Responds to life-saving situations per nursing standards and protocol.
Participates in discharge planning.
Utilizes time management skills.
Records all care information concisely and accurately.
Performs other duties as assigned.
