Job summary

The Wisconsin Veterans Home at Chippewa Falls is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to provide loving, quality care to our members in a 5-Star, Deficiency Free, homelike setting. The RN/LPN will follow treatment plans, document care, and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure the highest standard of service.

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin nursing license (RN or LPN).
• Valid CPR certification.
• Familiarity with care plans and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care following the treatment plan, including medications and assessments.
• Ensure nursing notes are informative and complete regarding the cares and services provided.
• Collaborate with the clinical team in establishing a treatment plan.
• Ensure residents' charts are updated and free of errors.
• Deliver compassionate, dignified care that respects each resident’s needs and rights.
