Job summary

ChildServe in Johnston, IA is seeking an RN or LPN to join our Inpatient Complex Medical program providing around-the-clock care in a family-centered environment for individuals aged 15-30 with complex medical needs.

You will deliver full nursing care, maintain records, and communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff. Requires Iowa RN/LPN license, BLS, ability to lift 35 lbs, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Iowa RN or LPN license.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and be mobile in clinic areas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a full range of nursing care based on the nursing process and care plan.
• Maintain accurate, timely records per nursing standards and ChildServe policies.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team to assess and meet care needs.
• Provide training to patients, families, and staff as needed to advance care delivery.
• Demonstrate stewardship of equipment, supplies, and the environment.
