ChildServe in Johnston, IA is seeking an RN or LPN to join our inpatient Pediatric Complex Medical program, providing around-the-clock care in a warm, family-centered setting.

Part-time day or night shifts are available; benefits include medical, dental, vision plans, retirement with company match, and generous PTO accrual.

You will deliver nursing care, maintain records, communicate with families and physicians, and train staff to support children with complex medical needs.

Formación

• Current valid license as a RN or LPN in Iowa.
• BLS certification within 90 days and before working independently.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and be mobile within clinic areas.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver a full range of nursing care based on the nursing process.
• Maintain accurate, completed, and timely records.
• Communicate effectively with residents, physicians, families, school personnel, ChildServe staff, and others to assess and meet care needs.
• Provide training to patients, families, and staff to advance care delivery.
• Demonstrate stewardship of equipment, supplies, and environment.

We are seeking a RN or LPN to join our compassionate team in our inpatient Pediatric Complex Medical program, where we provide around-the-clock care in a warm, family-centered environment. We support infants through age 14 who are unable to live at home due to complex medical needs, helping each child thrive in a safe, caring setting.

Available Schedule/Benefits

• Part Time Days- 2 shifts per week, 6am-6:30 am, every 3rd weekend
• Part Time Nights - 2 shifts per week, 6pm-6:30 am, every 3rd weekend
• Benefit eligible including medical, dental, vision plans, retirement with company match and generous PTO accrual including front-loaded PTO

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Within the nursing scope of practice, physician’s orders, and the care plan, make decisions and deliver a full range of nursing care based on the fundamentals of the nursing process.
• Maintain accurate, completed, and timely records as defined by nursing standards of practice and ChildServe policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively, respectfully, and professionally with residents, physicians, families, school personnel, ChildServe staff, and others to assure assigned child’s care needs are assessed, communicated, and met.
• Provide training to patients, families, and staff as needed to help advance the skills and knowledge of all people associated with a child’s care delivery.
• Demonstrate good stewardship of ChildServe equipment, supplies, and environment.

What You’ll Need

• Current valid license as a RN or LPN in Iowa.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 90 days and before working independently.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the clinic areas, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
• Ability to communicate effectively in (or through) reading, writing and speaking the English language.
