Job summary

Ohio's Hospice, Inc. seeks compassionate RNs and LPNs to provide hospice care during extended weekend hours in the Columbus area. The role involves driving between patients and delivering high-quality, compassionate care with a focus on comfort and dignity.

Position requires weekend availability (Sat-Sun, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM), driving in varying weather, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Ohio licensure, CPR, and a nursing degree are essential; CHPN preferred. Benefits available.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Active Ohio RN or LPN license in good standing with no board actions.
  • BSN preferred for RN candidates.
  • Two years of acute-care nursing experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Hospice and Palliative Care certification (CHPN) preferred.
  • Computer skills sufficient to document patient care.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Ability to drive during daytime hours and in inclement weather.
  • Criminal background check and 10-panel drug screen completed.

Position Overview

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated RNs/LPNs to provide exceptional hospice care during extended weekend hours. This position is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about supporting patients and families and helping them navigate the end-of-life journey with comfort, dignity, and compassion.

Schedule & Service Area
  • Saturday and Sunday
  • 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
  • Driving position serving patients throughout Columbus
  • Must be comfortable driving in varying weather and road conditions
  • Weekend availability is required
Key Responsibilities
