Job summary

AuthoraCare Collective is seeking an RN/LPN for our After-hours department serving the Greensboro service area. This part-time role covers every other Saturday and Sunday 1:00pm - 8:00pm. CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Must hold a North Carolina RN/LPN license in good standing. The nurse will assess patient/caregiver problems, set care goals, and work with physicians to implement the plan of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Currently licensed as RN/LPN in North Carolina in good standing.
• At least 1 year of experience in acute, hospice, home health or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient/caregiver problems and establish care goals.
• Document outcomes of care and implement medical plan of care with physician.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians and other health professionals.

AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking a RN/LPN for our After-hours department supporting our Greensboro service area. This position is part-time every other Saturday/Sunday 1:00pm - 8:00pm.

Job Summary:

Assess and identify patient/caregiver problems, establish nursing patient/caregiver care goals, and identify and implement interventions for all agency programs. Will document outcomes of care. Work with physician to establish and implement medical plan of care for the patient.

Work closely with other members of the interdisciplinary group and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with group members, patients, caregivers, physicians, pharmacists, and other health care professionals and community service organizations. Establish and maintain therapeutic relationship with patient/caregiver to include providing emotional support and teaching.

Requirements

Education and Experience :

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Must be currently licensed as an RN/LPN in North Carolina and in good standings with NCBON.
• One year of experience in an acute, hospice, home health setting, or long-term care setting plus.

CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Other: Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.
