Adena Health System in Chillicothe is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) to join the Observation Unit. The role offers flexible scheduling, patient-focused care, and strong team support, with a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and a 1:5-6 patient ratio.

Hours are full-time across three shifts weekly, with every third weekend required. The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited nursing program, with BSN preferred and BSN within five years for 338B.

What You’ll Do

The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patient’s plan of care; while creating an atmosphere that supports our vision: To be our regions’ most trusted partner in healthcare. The Staff Nurse, RN as the primary care giver provides direct patient care and works collaboratively with other care team members, the physician and the patient/family to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The incumbent has access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with others. The Staff Nurse, RN works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Required Educational Degree

Graduate of an Accredited Program

Major/Area Of Concentration

Nursing effective 9/1/2022 for all New Hires BSN required within 5 years of hire. 338B requires BSN

Preferred Education

Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
